OpenAI and Cursor Are Heading for a Break

Anthropic Wants AI Agents to Control Physical Equipment
Anthropic has released a research preview of its Model Hardware Standard, designed to create a common way for AI agents to interact with physical devices.
The idea is significant. An agent that previously worked with files, code and APIs could eventually operate microscopes, robotic arms and other scientific or manufacturing equipment.
