What is text-to-image?

You type "an orange cat in a helmet, floating in space" and a few seconds later a matching painting appears. That's text-to-image: the tech that turns written descriptions into pictures. It lets people who can't draw turn an idea into an image whenever they want.

How does text become an image?

What are its limits?

Impressive as it is, text-to-image still trips up: details go wrong (fingers, especially), text can come out garbled, and copyright is murky. So it's better as an "idea accelerator" than a full replacement for designers.
